Posted Sept 2010 Security & Investigative Placement Consultants LLC is currently recruiting for the following positions to be located in a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) country. Our client, a premier provider of professional advisory services, is seeking to relocate selected candidates over the next one to four months. All candidates for these roles must be able to relocate and be available to begin work within two to four months. A two year commitment is required.
All candidates MUST meet the following qualifications: Proven subject matter expertise in the functional areas for which they are being considered Significant experience working on U.S. diplomacy, U.S. intelligence community, geopolitical risk analysis, strategy, management, or professional services consulting Cultural sensitivity and interest in and knowledge about the Middle East Arabic language skills preferred (but not required) A spotless background. Clearances are not required, but candidates with clearances will be viewed very favorably. US citizenship.
Candidates are being sought for the following roles:
An Executive Manager/COO to oversee the building and launch of an analytical capacity focusing on geopolitical assessment, due diligence/investigations, and risk mitigation. Proven leadership and management experience required. A Head of Research to build and lead specific analytical practice areas, focusing on investment, risk, geopolitical issues and counterterrorism relevant to Middle Eastern markets. A Deputy Head of Research – Geopolitical -- to build and lead geopolitical practice area, focusing on Middle Eastern countries, cultures, regional political/security issues. A Deputy Head of Research – Counterterrorism -- to build and lead practice area focusing on local counterterrorism and counter-radicalization issues. Research Analysts with a Geopolitical focus and a unique ability to understand and analyze complex political, cultural, and strategic environments in Middle Eastern countries. Research Analysts with a Counterterrorism focus and a unique ability to understand and analyze local and regional radicalization and terrorism trends, including political, socio-economic, security, and cultural issues contributing to terrorism. A Technical Chief with substantial experience designing and maintaining complex computer networks and CISSP and CISM certifications. Prior experience working on similar technical issues for a USG entity desired. Technical Staff members with at least seven years experience designing and maintaining complex computer networks Must be able to plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, applying cryptography to network applications, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users. Head of Red Team / Counterintelligence to design, oversee, and execute complex technical red teaming/counterintelligence exercises. Must have an In-depth understanding of counterintelligence issues across the Middle East.

SUMMARY
The Director of Security will provide leadership and direction regarding all aspects of security for our client who is engaged in global legal services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Position will ensure appropriate senior management awareness of security and crisis risk in order that the Firm is able to anticipate, and appropriately respond to foreseeable security and crisis risks. Manage the protective security and safety of the Client’s personnel, facilities and assets globally, both within and outside of the Client’s controlled space. Develop and implement global security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures for physicals, procedural, technical and personnel security. Develop and implement a global Crisis Management Plan. Coordinate crisis management efforts from onset through resolution; direct and endure the security of Client’s facilities, assets, intellectual property, computer systems, personnel and visitors during emergency situations. Utilize high-level law enforcements and international counterparts to ensure in-country security. Develop and maintain the organization’s crisis program, to include a wide understanding of what may constitute a crisis and how to respond.
QUALIFICATIONS
NOTE: MUST HAVE CORPORATE & INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, criminal justice or other related field. Minimum of 5 years of information technology, government security services (FBI, CIA, Secret Service, Police, etc), internal audit and/or crisis management work experience with at least two years of project management and other leadership experience in managing multiple, large cross-functional team or projects and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have some experience working with or for international business entities. Must have a customer focus and ability to manage client’s expectations.

Title: Part-Time Security Officer Location: Washington, DC Salary: DOE Firm: Confidential
Duties/Responsibilities: Our downtown Washington, DC law firm has office space housing nearly 900 people in two interconnected buildings and several floors in another building. These offices are monitored and patrolled by the Security Department. In addition, our branch offices are electronically monitored from the security office in Washington, DC. The Part-Time Security Officer will be responsible for all issues related to the security and protection of the firm’s employees and facilities during shift and on-call assigned schedules. Other duties will be as follows. Conduct safety and security patrols. Provide escorts to parking facilities and metro stops for employee working after hours. Provide escorts for vendors throughout the facility. Respond to medical emergencies. Maintain daily security log for after-hours security operations. Ensure proper distribution of security reports. Duplicate keys. Receive, copy, correlate and deliver incoming faxes after hours. Issue visitor passes and distribute parking passes. Conduct security brief for new arrivals. Installation and maintenance of various locking devises. Answer telephone and perform other duties as assigned. Timely and regular attendance.
Qualifications: A proactive attitude and good judgment with regard to security and protection are necessary. Associates Degree or have graduated from a recognized law enforcement academy. Maintain qualifications as a Special Police Officer. At least 2 years security/law enforcement experience (college credits may be substituted to satisfy this requirement). Certified in CPR and First Aid. EMT Certification is highly preferred and must be attained within one year of employment. Excellent communications skills a must. Computer competency (MS Office Suite).
Hours: The shifts will be a combination of weekday evening hour shifts (5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. ) and weekend shifts (12:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.; or 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; or 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.). This schedule is very flexible and is based on the needs of the department.
